Greenville Ave St. Patrick’s Day Parade
For the 33rd year, the St. Patrick's Day Parade will travel two miles along Greenville Avenue with floats, bands, walkers, cars, and more.
The parade kicks off from Park Lane and Greenville Avenue, travels south on Greenville Avenue, and ends at SMU Boulevard and Greenville Avenue (just north of Mockingbird Lane).

Inwood Theatre: Cinema Gem
Gaining accolades from across the country, Inwood Theatre is near and dear to the hearts of locals as a chic and majestic locale to catch a flick. Built in 1947, Inwood Theatre retains its historic charm with the grand, sweeping architecture of the 1940s. The Theatre was spruced up in 2005 and then in 2008 the Screening Lounge Auditorium was built, offering audiences couches, sofas, and love seats for lounging while watching movies. Audience members are welcomed into the Inwood by the Inwood Lounge, a lush martini bar where you can grab a drink and talk film until 2 a.m. The Inwood Theatre specializes in premiering the latest independent and foreign films. Uptown Crawl for a Cure
The Uptown Crawl for a Cure is DFW’s largest Pub Crawl event of the year and is happening March 24, 2012. If you’re looking for a great time or want to help out for a great cause, then this event is for you. Get your friends together and start a team of 5. Every participating team will receive two pitchers of beer at each of the 5 bars on your respective route.

Whether you want to run or just have fun the annual Dash Down Greenville Avenue is the 5K that has it all. The annual DDG is more than just another 5K run as it is the kick off of Dallas' St. Patrick's Day celebration. The day includes great live music, incredible food and beverages, a wild parade, the opportunity to contribute to a worthy cause (The North Texas Food Bank) and that all adds up to great times for you, your friends and family.
