Inwood Theatre: Cinema Gem

Gaining accolades from across the country, Inwood Theatre is near and dear to the hearts of locals as a chic and majestic locale to catch a flick. Built in 1947, Inwood Theatre retains its historic charm with the grand, sweeping architecture of the 1940s. The Theatre was spruced up in 2005 and then in 2008 the Screening Lounge Auditorium was built, offering audiences couches, sofas, and love seats for lounging while watching movies. Audience members are welcomed into the Inwood by the Inwood Lounge, a lush martini bar where you can grab a drink and talk film until 2 a.m. The Inwood Theatre specializes in premiering the latest independent and foreign films.
